The small outer display, visible when the phone is closed, provides color resolution, as well.

"It has treated me ok for a year..."

This phone is generally fine. The battery life is good, all the technical aspects are mostly OK. However, I find myself swearing at it on a quite regular basis for two main reaons:^M
